Secondary Transition Training

Join us for the Secondary Transition Training, a key event for professionals dedicated to helping students successfully transition from high school to adulthood. This year's virtual training, scheduled for October 29, November 5, and November 12, from 3:45 to 5:15 PM via Zoom, offers a comprehensive look at the opportunities available to your students.

What to Expect
The training offers valuable insights into secondary transition and the essential resources for post-secondary success. We're excited to bring back our specialized breakout sessions, which are designed to address the specific needs of different student populations. You'll have the opportunity to delve into focused topics with peers and experts.

Breakout Session Dates:
November 18: Intensive Students
November 19: Rural Students
November 20: College-Bound Students

This year, we are also featuring a Student Workshop. This special session is designed to empower students by helping them understand the importance of being involved in their Individualized Education Program (IEP) and transition plans. They'll learn how to effectively advocate for themselves as they prepare for life after high school.
